Research on tunnel ventilation scheme for sea-crossing section of Macao LRT east line project

Taking the tunnel ventilation scheme for the sea-crossing section of the Macao LRT （light rail transit） east line project as the research object, the tunnel is divided into two ventilation zones by setting the single top-of-track ducts at the top of the shield tunnel and the rail top air outlet in the middle of the tunnel. This project adopts station air shafts and top-of-track duct instead of interval air shafts, arranges fans, air shafts and supporting facilities reasonably,and uses mode switching to realize fan backup and reduce civil construction scale. It not only meets the special equipment reserve requirements and tunnel ventilation effect in Macao, but also greatly reduces the investment. The rationality of each parameter configuration and the feasibility of the calculation results are simulated and verified by SES software, which provides a reference for tunnel ventilation design for similar sea(river)-crossing tunnel projects.
